FOIA Program Manager – Government FOIA Support

About the role

The FOIA Program Manager will lead the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) administration support for the U.S. Department of the Army’s Office of the Staff Judge Advocate at Joint Task Force‑Guantanamo Bay. This full‑time position is based onsite in GTMO and provides critical liaison, compliance, and document‑handling services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall FOIA site operations, act as primary liaison with government personnel, and supervise ProSidian staff and contractors.
• Develop, implement, and monitor contract plans and procedures within 90 days of award.
• Record and submit meeting minutes, ensure proper classification markings, and provide weekly attendance reports.
• Conduct FOIA request reviews, coordinate document searches, apply redactions using Redact Express, and ensure compliance with FOIA statutes.
• Provide FOIA‑specific training to action officers and technical support for new cases.

Required profile

• Experience in DOD/Military sector with functional or technical expertise related to FOIA administration.
• Ability to manage contract deliverables, supervise personnel, and maintain compliance with DoD policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Redact Express or similar redaction tools.
