FOIA Processing Agent – FOIA Administration Support

About the role

ProSidian Consulting seeks a FOIA Processing Agent to provide Freedom of Information Act administration support for the Joint Task Force – Guantanamo Bay. The role is full‑time, based onsite at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, and supports DOD/Military clients across the Caribbean region.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process FOIA requests, coordinating document searches and applying appropriate redactions using Redact Express.
• Prepare reports, briefing materials, and correspondence while ensuring compliance with FOIA statutes and organizational policies.
• Conduct quality‑assurance reviews of redacted documents and track case status in the FOIA management system.
• Provide FOIA‑specific training and technical support to action officers and liaise with external agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience processing FOIA requests and performing document redactions.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle sensitive information in a high‑security environment.
• Must hold an active Secret security clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
• Proficiency in English (read, write, speak) and basic computer skills.
