FOIA Analyst – FOIA Administration Support

About the role

ProSidian Consulting is seeking a FOIA Analyst to provide Freedom of Information Act administration support for the Joint Task Force‑Guantanamo Bay (JTF‑GTMO) Office of the Staff Judge Advocate. The position is full‑time, onsite in the Caribbean region, and focuses on processing FOIA requests for the U.S. Department of the Army.

Key responsibilities

• Process FOIA requests, conduct document searches, review responsive materials, and apply redactions using Redact Express or similar tools.
• Maintain compliance with FOIA statutes, declassification policies, and security classification guides.
• Use FOIA case tracking systems to prepare official correspondence, legal documentation, and status reports.
• Provide FOIA‑specific training and technical support to action officers and coordinate responses across multiple directorates.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience processing FOIA requests and redacting documents in a DoD or federal environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently in a high‑security setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Redact Express.
• Experience using document management and FOIA case tracking systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAFE software.
